Some people have been so deeply moved by the passing of the queen that they have felt the need to put things down in words or pictures.

As my family gathered round me
To show me their love and care
I felt my Philips hand upon my shoulder
I always knew he’d be there
To walk me through the golden gates
Those high & up above
Ready for the new life ahead
Back with my one true love
Thank you for the loyalty, love
Memories & milestones that we shared
Standing by me through my reign
And showing that you cared
70 years of service
As the country’s friend & queen
I’ll still be there around you
I’m just no longer seen
