Bespoke Personalised 50p Shaped Coins

TGBCH 50p shaped coins are a relatively new commodity in the collectable market and are set to become quite sought after.  Having played around a bit with numbers, we decided we would never make less than 100 and never more than 1,000 of a coin.  This is done to keep our releases both collectable and sought-after, with people trading and swapping for decades to come.

In certain cases it’s possible to have bespoke personalised coins created for free with no cost to you.  There are a few rules to follow for this though, purely because we have to pay for them whether they sell or not.  This idea would suit small businesses, shops and social media influencers etc.  Our designers would carefully work out a design with you and, once signed off, we would then order and pay for them.  It takes around 3 – 4 weeks from ordering to receiving coins and so we would advertise these for sale the moment they are ordered.  We would also expect the client to do the same, with the aim of having them all sold before they even arrive.

The client would be expected to fully promote their coins with videos, by adding them to their website or profile or email marketing or even A4 posters in their shop.  We would obviously supply the design to assist with their promotion.  The client would receive 20% of each coin sold.   One hundred coins would equal £300 for a client for free.  If they have regular customers or lots of followers, then a hundred sales is not hard to achieve.  We know that would sell 10-20% pretty much straight away to our own database.  We have customers who collect each coin we produce and some of these customers have an arrangement with us for a specific C.O.A. number.  For example, numbers 1, 2, 5, 13, 19, 29, 49 and a couple of others are always sold as soon as we list them.  Anyone wishing to collect and to get a specific C.O.A. number will need to contact Ian at support@tgbch.co.uk

It is advisable not to just use the first photo you think of… but instead perhaps look at what you do, how you do it and to think about the type of business you have and so on.  A full-on photo rarely works well, whereas a profile picture tends to work far better.  Logos are great and can be really eye-catching on a coin.  We are always happy to have a chat with you and come up with something which will suit you and what you do.

Once a client’s first coin works, we can then do more.  This will give your followers/customers an individual collection all in its own right.  It could become a whole range of designs that, as long as they keep selling, we can continue to make for you.  If a limited run of 100 sells out before they have arrived, then the next coin could have a run of 150.  Once these sell out in advance we can up it to 200 and so on.  This can continue like this right up the scale until you get to 1,000.  Once we reach this point… if the client is to sell a coin with a run of 1,000 each month, it will result in them getting a payout of £3,000!  Now this really is something to achieve!

Of course, on the other hand, a client may prefer to have a certain number of coins made, pay for them and take the whole lot.  They may decide to use these as corporate gifts, giveaways or to sell them at their own price.  In which case the cost is –

100 – 999 = £750

1,000 = £6,000

It would then be up to the client as to what they wanted to do with them, sell them or gift them.
