Possibly the Last Ever Peter Rabbit Coin EVER (Again)

Now I am going to tell you about something very, very exciting indeed.  But before I do, I want you to be prepared.  For the information I am about to share is going to have quite an effect – not only on your coin collection, but also on you as a person.  So hold on tight and try not to squeal……

Ready?  Are you sitting comfortably?

Okay…… there is a BRAND NEW Peter Rabbit coin on sale.  Yes, that’s right, ANOTHER Peter Rabbit coin.  Yup, that is also right, it is probably ANOTHER ‘last ever Peter Rabbit coin’ too…. like several others before it as I seem to remember.

Of course, this coin is entirely different to any of the other zillion as it has…. er…. Peter Rabbit on it.  And it is a £5 coin….. although there was another Peter Rabbit £5 coin not that long ago with Peter Rabbit on it too…..  Anyway, it is still very exciting.  And I know this for a fact because of the masses of very exciting emails I keep getting about it all from The Westminster Collection and The Royal Mint and Collectology and Koin Club and Change Checker.

 

Yup, that is also right, it is probably ANOTHER ‘last ever Peter Rabbit coin’ too…. like several others before it as I seem to remember. 

 

So there you go; the release of this new coin is clearly VERY exciting indeed.  And anyone who thinks otherwise is obviously very mistaken.

I do hope you managed to contain yourself and you didn’t pee your pants during that Potter Revelation.

But……

There IS something exciting about this release inasmuch as the colour brilliant uncirculated version and the silver proof are quite jolly low mintage-wise.  The colour BUNC is 8,600 while the silver is only 3,500.  Both of these are low and both sold out very super quicky-quick (within a couple of days).  Bearing this in mind, it may be worth snaffling a few and putting them away as they could well go up in value.

And there we have it.  There really was a point to this post and I didn’t spend three quarters of it taking the Michael out of this seemingly endless franchise for nothing.  I mean, it’s not like I would sit poking fun at the unimaginativeness of 288 Group and their ‘do it to death’ attitude to coins is it???

Really…..  Would I do that?
