For a long time now, Ian Lambert has been telling people how his TGBCH coins would become much more sought-after. He also predicted that once this had started to happen, they would also gain value on the secondary market.
Of course, the scoffers loved this. They were also eager to ridicule what he said. And there are always a few scoffers waiting in the wings.
However, it may well be that Mr Lambert was right. I am saying this as there is now a fair bit of evidence to go on.
Since their conception, TGBCH coins have gained more and more momentum. Sales have crept up steadily and they now have a definite following – with quite a lot of people buying each new release as it happens. A few weeks ago, Ian put his ’50 Years of Pride’ coin on sale. This proved to be extremely popular. In fact, it proved to be the most popular TGBCH coin to date.
‘Pride’, like many TGBCH releases, only had a run of one hundred. But it is the only one of his coins to sell out completely before even arriving from his supplier. So, once they turned up, it was all hands on deck in the dispatch department. But the story does not end there either.
Since they sold out, a few have cropped up on eBay. This immediately suggests that other people understand their value and have purposely bought to resell. But the next part is the most impressive bit of all. If you are to investigate this by searching for ‘Pride TGBCH’ in ‘Sold Items’, you will be in for a surprise. Coins Ian Lambert sold for £10 each have already been selling on the secondary market for two and a half times that. This has also come about within weeks of selling out at TGBCH. Quite a shocker.
Seeing TGBCH coins selling for £25 each may well become far more commonplace. Only a small amount of each are made – immediately making them exclusive. The designs in this range are also improving all the time; TGBCH coins are crisp, clean and colourful.
Perhaps anyone who had doubts about Mr Lambert’s ideas will choose to have a rethink. They may even decide to buy a few of his coins for themselves. From the way things are, TGBCH releases are starting to look like a very good investment indeed…..
